Never Give Up Frit Lampwork Beads
This set was created using GGs Never Give Up Frit blend. The colors are absolutely stunning with the amethyst, pink, and periwinkle blue combination. Using the colors on the surface brings out beautiful purple tones. This frit looked gorgeous over all the base colors, including clear.
It is interesting that the colors on the surface lean more purple whereas the colors inside transparent glass lean more pink. The frits were used over these base glass colors:
- Bubble Bath
- Violet New
- Lilac
- Periwinkle
- Pink Dogwood
- Lavender
- Clear
Using the frit in glass seemed to create more bubbles than some of my other glass. It could be from the rod of glass I used, but there are less bubbles when used on the surface of the same clear glass in the beads above.
I absolutely love the purple blend with the swirls. You can see hints of teal green in some of the beads.
