The Pied Piper frit blend from Frit Heaven features a stunning combination of opaque colors. When applied over opaque glass, this frit creates vibrant and cheerful beads in fuchsia, green, and blue hues. Additionally, this blend works beautifully when encased, with pink and blue tones elegantly dominating the design of the beads.

This blend was used over turquoise, sky blue, primavera, periwinkle, and new violet opaque base glass colors. Colors like turquoise and new violet had fun reactions where others just created a watercolor palette of sorts.
When I incorporated these frits into clear glass in a swirl design, the pinks and blues became the dominant colors. By adding gold and blue gold aventurine, I achieved a beautiful set of beads. It's always intriguing to see which color emerges as the dominant hue when using frit encased in glass, as they often appear entirely different compared to when they are used over opaque colors.

Glass can often surprise you, producing unexpected results. I've noticed that frit blends can look completely different when encased compared to when applied to the surface of the beads. In every set of beads it is interesting to see which colors are dominant. You can get this blend on Frit Heaven and it is called Pied Piper.  Shop all lampwork beads now.
